At the Annual Banyan Dinner, Sunday November 15th.
Banyan is an innovation approach to transforming community rooted in the Phillips neighborhood of south Minneapolis. Our neighborhood is often known for its challenges: 50% of children live in poverty, unemployment is at 18%, and less than half of students graduate from high school. Banyan nurtures hope by creating a new path for youth and families in our community.
The results are profound:
- Banyan community members believe they can make our neighborhood a better place to live
- Banyan equips leaders of all ages with a holistic approach to Christian community development
- Banyan families are invested in a hopeful vision of the future and experience long-term stability
- Banyan youth have graduated high school at 100% for over 10 years
Come celebrate the partnership of supporters and community members as we close the opportunity gap.
