Corporate Gathering

This year, Banyan Community reimagined its annual tradition by trading the evening open-house dinner for a vibrant breakfast event—the Corporate Gathering. Held in the beautifully reopened Coliseum, the gathering brought together long-time supporters and new friends to celebrate the power of partnership in the nonprofit sector.

The morning was filled with inspiration and energy. Sheletta Brundidge, Emmy award-winning comedian and radio host, brought her signature warmth and humor as the event’s emcee. Guests were especially moved by Jazmine Panora, a proud Banyan alumna and current Microsoft engineer, who shared her powerful journey from the Phillips neighborhood to a thriving career in tech. Her story was a testament to the transformative impact of community support.

At the Corporate Gathering, guests were invited to deepen their involvement in Banyan’s mission of building strong roots and transforming lives in the Phillips neighborhood. The passion in the room was contagious—so much so that 14 new donors raised their hands in support during the event!

Thanks to the generosity of all who attended, we’re thrilled to share that the grand total for the event is $32,770. We are deeply grateful for your trust and investment in our work.
