St. David’s Center for Child & Family Development is deepening its roots in Minneapolis with a partnership with Banyan Community to launch a new early childhood education program in the Phillips neighborhood at Banyan Community’s site, located at 2529 13th Ave. S., in September 2018.
Banyan and St David’s Center have developed a unique and responsive partnership, leveraging over 75 years of expertise and exceptional results with children and families. The new program will be open to 18 4- to 5-year-olds and will include the hiring and training of a team of five early childhood staff members, most of whom are bilingual. The program will offset the costs of tuition for some families that are waiting for access to early learning scholarships or childcare assistance.
