For nearly 25 years, Banyan Community’s School’s Cool program has supplied school materials and uniforms to area youth in the Phillips neighborhood of South Minneapolis. Thank you for your generous past support. One of the many results of your contribution to this important program is a 100% high school graduation rate!
It all starts with a backpack, uniform, and school supplies to ensure our K-12 youth are set up for success on the very first day of school. Banyan youth work hard. They are supported by their parents, our educators, and partners like YOU!
Banyan families and staff are looking forward to the 2024-25 school year. We are asking for your financial support to ensure Banyan youth are prepared to learn and grow. With your help, the School’s Cool program will support all 160 Banyan K-12 youth. Here is how the cost breaks down this year:
- $760 covers a backpack, school supplies and uniforms for two Banyan youth
- $380 covers a backpack, school supplies and uniforms for one Banyan youth
- $230 covers uniform essentials for one Banyan youth attending a Catholic school
- $150 covers a backpack & school supplies for one Banyan youth
