Banyan Community understands that language barriers can be a significant obstacle for non-native English speakers trying to fill out official paperwork. Therefore, Banyan Community plays a crucial role in assisting parents in navigating their TADS financial aid application. The TADS, similar to the FAFSA, is a financial aid application process that our ASPIRE and private school family’s complete annually. With 23 required sections of information, including cataloging medical expenses, care expenses, itemizing bills and assets, the application process can be overwhelming for many parents. Banyan Community staff partner to provide guidance and support every step of the way.

We recognize the challenges that parents face when it comes to understanding and completing the application. Completing the application online helps meet parents in other languages and Banyan’s new Chromebooks have opened the door for staff to help families more efficiently. Staff also offer bilingual assistance to help parents understand the questions asked in the application and provide accurate responses. With these resources at their fingertips, parents can easily navigate through each section and ensure that they provide accurate information.

Banyan Community empowers parents to successfully navigate the complex TADS application process by offering essential support services. This includes translation assistance, access to technology, and knowledgeable staff members who guide them through each section. The goal is to ensure that all families, regardless of their background, have an equal opportunity to access financial aid for their children’s education.
