The Lighthouse Network block club leaders meet monthly to discuss relevant topics around community building and neighborhood happenings in Phillips. In the coming months, Banyan will be recruiting additional neighbors and families to participate while expanding leadership opportunities. To support these efforts, the Family and Community Engagement Team welcomed a new team member this fall – Amy Luciano.
Amy serves as the Community Engagement Specialist and has a dedicated focus on community engagement with the Lighthouse Network. While Amy has been with Banyan for many years (as a Banyan Scholar and afternoon receptionist), we are thrilled to see her grow into this new position.
Along with National Night Out celebrations, several leaders hosted fall block gatherings and continue to share ideas about what has worked well to connect with neighbors. Amy is focused on expanding our efforts to support Block Club Leaders in the sharing of information, building relationships, and becoming a more connected Lighthouse Network.
