This Tuesday, Banyan Community hosted its first youth program open house. Five families braved the weather to take a tour of the building and get their questions answered. Families met with our Family Advocate, one of our ASPIRE students, and a number of our program staff. There was great conversation about the programs offered by Banyan, especially regarding the high school options. Questions about transportation, meals, building security, and service hours were fully answered. Per Dan Watson, Director of Youth, Family, and Community Programs, “It was intimate, and I think the families really felt welcomed.” Moving forward, Banyan Community plans to host more open houses like this to help families get a better visual.
