Our Corporate Gathering fundraiser celebrates the valuable partnership organizations can have in the non-profit sector. Sheletta Brundidge, remarkable Twin-Cities personality and creator of SHElettaMakesMeLaugh, will be helping to share the stories of Banyan. Breakfast will blend treats from local restaurants along with some great coffee. Hosted in the newly reopened Coliseum, this will be a morning of encouragement and offer the opportunity to transform the lives of youth and families in the Phillips neighborhood.

About Sheletta
Sheletta Brundidge is an Emmy award-winning comedian and radio host. With a journalism degree, a newsroom background and several stints as a standup, Sheletta straddles the worlds of public policy and comedy and is equally at home in both. In 2020, Sheletta created SHElettaMakesMeLaugh, a multi-media online platform. We’re delighted to welcome her as the host for our event.

The Historic Coliseum Building is an 80,000 square foot office and retail building located in Downtown Longfellow. This Historic structure has long been a destination for community commerce. Today, it has been renovated it into a beacon for BIPOC entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Breakfast & Coffee
Breakfast will celebrate our incredible neighborhood with a buffet of food from local restaurants and share their community stories. Along with this blend of treats, there will be a complimentary coffee cart available for specialty drinks.
